The Bald Head Island Beaches Experience

Bald Head Island Beaches allows dogs all year round! Dogs on the beach must be leashed from sunset to sunrise during turtle season, which starts on the 1st of May and goes through till November 15.
All other times, dogs can roam off leash, but under effective control.
To get here you’ll need to take the pet-friendly Bald Head Island Ferry.
