Its beach is the name given to the south-facing beach below the cliffs on the west side of Cape Santa Cruz in Santa Cruz, California.
At low tide, you can explore the rock arch at the northern end of the beach. At the top is a lighthouse that houses the Santa Cruz Surf Museum.
There are several parking lots along W Cliff Drive and access to the beach is via a paved path along the cliffs. Just walk towards the center of the beach and the long steps will take you down to the sand.
Its beaches and indoor parks are open to dogs, so you’re likely to see a lot. Dogs are not allowed on the beach after 4pm, but they can be on the beach anytime they are on a leash.
