Esplanade Beach is a rather narrow dog friendly beach located below Esplanade Avenue in Pacifica, CA. Located below a steep fast-eroding bluff with few access points, locals call it Esplanade Dog Beach since the city has designated this as an off-leash area for pets. This north end access is the best way to Esplanade Beach. The beach suffers greatly from winter storms. Parking is available on the street along Esplanade Avenue.
