Gantheaume beach is an off-lead dog-exercise area. Pet owners need to be in control of their dog and pick up the poo.
If you are driving down to Gantheaume beach, it is important not to go beyond the 500m cut-off for vehicles – this is clearly signposted.
From April 1 – August 31 (between the hours of 5-10am) each year, Gantheaume Point is a designated Horse Exercise area from the access ramp to 2km north along the beach, which in turn restricts dogs from being off-lead in this area.
The nearby lookout has a public toilet, bins and seating.
