Moana Beach has a dedicated dog exercise area which is free to use all year round. Another section of the beach requires that dogs be on-leash between 10am and 8pm during summer, but the rest of the time they can run off-leash. The dedicated dog beach is located approximately 300 metres from the Moana Surf Life Saving Club. With a beach pass, cars may be driven on the sand at Moana.
