Dogs are permitted off-leash on Ellis Beach from rocks at the southern end of the beach for a distance of 450 metres to the north (adjacent to the car park). Bear in mind that this is croc country, so be aware if your dog likes swimming and stay vigilant (it is best to avoid river mouths on beaches).
