GJ Walter Park has a designed and fenced off dog off-leash area with it’s own beach access. Keep in mind though that the beach section isn’t fenced so make sure your dog is under effect voice control. The rest of the park features a children’s playground, a number of picnic tables, electric BBQs, public toilets, and benches set beneath the shade of large, well-established trees. Dogs are welcome across all of the areas outside of the dog off-leash park, as longe they are kept on the leash.
