Stuart Island Park is a leash-free area that offers visitors a variety of amenities including toilets, beautiful scenery, walking tracks and cycling tracks. The park is dog-friendly and welcomes visitors to bring their canine companions to explore the area. However, it’s important to note that there is no camping or overnight parking allowed at the park. So It’s a perfect spot for a day visit to enjoy nature and recreational activities.
The northern end of Stuart Island features an off-leash dog-friendly beach area on Crown Land Reserve. Dogs are not allowed to chase wildlife within the inter-tidal zone.
