Kandanga RV Park is a free short-term campsite located on Main Street in the small town of Kandanga. The park is provided by the local community through the Friends of Kandanga Group.
The park features large grassed areas, 12 sealed sites, and is situated opposite the swimming pool where hot showers can be had for a gold coin donation (when the pool is open) and offers a playground, electric BBQ, toilets and an undercover picnic table. It is also conveniently located within a short walk of the town center, hotel, and bowling club.
The main street of the town has an information center building with a library and café, and is a must-stop to inquire about the surrounding district’s attractions like the Railway station. The Friends of Kandanga group play a major role in making your stay comfortable by providing a fireplace & firewood, tables, seating & keeping the surrounding area tidy. A donation is appreciated to enable them to continue this great service.
Although, the park has some mobile phone service, it will depend on your carrier. Dogs are welcome at this campsite, but please be responsible with them. The maximum time limit for staying at the Kandanga RV Park is 72 hours.
